BIOGRAPHY
Professor Jonathan Folorunsho Ojo was born in Nigeria. He attended Christ’s School in Ado-Ekiti where he was awarded the prizes for the best performance in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry in December 1959. His University education was in Ibadan where he received his first degree (B.Sc) Chemistry in 1965 and a second degree (Ph.D) also in Chemistry in 1969.
An experienced teacher, he resumed as a lecturer in Chemistry at Obafemi Awolowo University (O.A.U), Ile-Ife formerly known as “University of Ife” on the 1st of October 1970 and rose to the level of Professor on October 1, 1980. Since then Professor Ojo has been awarded several grants and fellowships around the world as listed below:
